This letter is an invitation for you and/or your organization to advertise in our upcoming Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. 80th 12th District Meeting digital booklet, May 14-18, 2025 in Portland, OR.
The 12th District of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, and local chapter, Zeta Nu, an Unincorporated affiliation of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., will host the meeting.
Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., a nonprofit organization, was founded on the campus of Howard University in 1911 with a commitment to service for the betterment of all mankind. With over 125,000 members, the Fraternity has over 700 chapters across the US and abroad. The 12th District has members across 51 chapters – 41 graduate and 10 undergraduate chapters. Approximately 600-700 attendees will register for the District Conference; moreover, attendance is expected to draw more than 1,500 Fraternity members, family, and friends throughout the meeting.
The annual business meeting will be held at the Hilton Downtown Portland and host participants from 10 states comprising California, Alaska, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. During this meeting, we will plan how our dedicated membership will continue to impact young lives in the top 48 major cities of the Western United States. Community leaders from the Portland area as well as dignitaries across the country have confirmed their attendance at the meeting. Our members and guests will visit local city businesses, restaurants and enjoy many local venues day and night that are available in the city of Portland. State and local dignitaries, community guests, patrons, fraternity members’ families, friends, and the general public from the Portland metropolitan area will also be in attendance.

This fall the chapter will mentor students at POIC and Rosemary Anderson High School. During the regional conference Zeta Nu will facilitate a STEM program for the youth.

In addition, the 12th District of the fraternity gives scholarship donations through numerous programs and initiatives related to Fatherhood/Mentoring, Stop the Violence, Assault on Illiteracy, Habitat for Humanity, and Business and Economic Development. Health initiatives include Aids Health Alliance (AHA), St. Jude Children’s Hospital Partnership, COVID support, hosting and participating in health symposiums, job fairs, blood drives, and fitness/wellness events.
